Inclement Weather CHANGE!
In the event of snow or inclement weather, we will generally follow the DCPS decision to close, delay or open but there may be some instances when the school will make a judgment call that differs from DCPS to protect our students. Please be sure to check Facebook, e-mails and phone messages for information. If you are not currently receiving robocalls please be sure that the front office has an updated phone number so that we can successfully reach you!

School Garden
Washington Global was awarded a grant through the Lowe’s Toolbox for Education program. The grant will allow the school to create school garden in the spring. Stay tuned for updates!
Black History Month
In honor of Black History Month the students will be completing projects honoring African Americans who have had an impact on our country. The winning students will get to go on a field trip to the Newseum to see their new Civil Rights exhibit.
