About Washington Global PCS
Washington Global PCS is an award-winning college preparatory middle school with an international focus. Founded in 2014, Washington Global serves sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students from all over Washington, DC.
The school prides itself on providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for high school, college, and beyond.
Washington Global was named a 2023 U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School and a 2022 Bold Performance School by EmpowerK12. Washington Global PCS received both of these prestigious awards for closing the academic achievement gap.
Washington Global is also the #1 standalone middle school on the Bold Performance awardee list!
Washington Global Public Charter School has been named a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education!

How can my child attend one of these schools?
Washington Global ensures that each eighth grade student participates in an individualized high school exploration process. This process includes high school placement counseling with our staff, as well as preparation for any applications or interviews the desired high school(s) require.

Afterschool Activities
Washington Global provides various free afterschool activities each day school is in session, outside of after school care.
Daily activities are posted in our weekly newsletter and on bulletin boards, and include activities such as tutoring, STEAM, journalism, Spanish tutoring, math tutoring, chess, arts and crafts, and competitive sports.
