About Washington Global PCS

Washington Global PCS is a college preparatory middle school with an international focus. Founded in 2014, Washington Global serves sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students from all over Washington, DC. The school prides itself on providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for high school, college, and beyond.

Washington Global was awarded the Bold Performance Schools award by EmpowerK12. Washington Global PCS received this award by demonstrating PARCC proficiency rates above pre-pandemic expectations when compared to similar charter and DCPS schools. Washington Global is also the #1 standalone middle school on the Bold Performance awardee list!

We ensure that each eighth grade student participates in an individualized high school exploration process. This process includes high school placement counseling with our Staff and one of the area’s most renowned school placement consultants, as well as preparation for any applications or interviews the desired high school(s) require.

Afterschool Activities

Washington Global provides various afterschool activities each day school is in session, outside of aftercare.

Daily activities are posted in our weekly newsletter, and include activities such as tutoring, journalism, Spanish, Math, Chess, Arts and Crafts, and competitive sports.
