Washington Global Public Charter School is a community school open to all middle school students in Washington, DC. The School utilizes a rigorous, internationally-based academic and cultural curriculum, which integrates project-based learning, service learning, technology, and language acquisition to develop enterprising and competitive global citizens.

Before care starts at 7:00am, and ends at 7:45am

Each student is given two laptops, one to keep at home and one to keep at the School
Service Learning
All students at Washington Global engage in at least one service learning project each year, which fosters their connection to real-world learning and commitment to social responsibility.
Prior projects include:
Annual Peace Walk to promote peace in the District
Collecting resources for local homeless shelters and creating an ongoing partnership to support unhoused individuals
Developing community mental health resources to help teens during the COVID-19 pandemic
Free extracurricular activities, clubs, and sports
Includes chess, arts & crafts, fitness, free tutoring, flag football, cheerleading, and basketball
